When using stun guns is skin contact needed?
No. With the Titan, Talon, Dragon (with or without the dart cartridge) the electric spark will penetrate up to 1 inch of clothing including leather jackets. Also if the assailant has a hold of you and you use the stun gun the electric shock will not transfer into your body. Stun guns are very effective when used directly and also have a very intimidating indirect effect. A warning fire into the air along with a no nonsense look at most would be attacker will almost always stop a confrontation from occuring before it gets physical.
How do you recharge the Titan stun gun?
Two prongs can be pushed out with the slide button and spring which locks into place and is located on the bottom of the unit.
What makes the Titan stun gun so special?
The Titan is built with a third of the amperage of what you find in a police Taser. No other stun gun of any brand can compete against the Titan when it comes to takedown capability. The 130 decibel alarm with patented disarming rip-cord technology also separates the Titan from other similar models.
How long will the rechargeable battery last?
The grade A nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery will last an average of 15-25 years compared to most C & D grade batteries you find in other competing stun brands that last 3-5 years. If you recharge the Talon according to suggested instructions then it will last you close to a lifetime.
What is a comparable size of the Talon?
The Talon is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It fits very well in the palm of your hand and has a rubber like texture for easy grip.
What happens if my stun gun is damaged during a special incident?
If you use any of our stun guns in a self defense situation and the stun gun unit is damaged we will replace it for free if you provide a copy of the police report.
How do you make them record?
There are two easy buttons on the left hand side above the ear. One power button and one record/pause button. You don't have to hold the buttons down for 1-2 seconds, just a quick push and the green power indicator will flash on to constant status along with one blink from the blue record indicator which will then turn off. Push the record button and you will see the same blue flashing indicator light out of your left peripheral vision to assure you are in record mode.
How is the video and audio captured?
The video is captured from a 3.0 MegaPixel CMOS camera lens located in between the eyes on the bridge of the frame. The audio is captured through the audio stereo features located on the left and right side right above the ears.
How old of windows version can I play footage?
Driver needed for versions older than Win 98.
How do you transfer footage for viewing?
Each unit comes equipped with USB compatible cord with charging adapter. The footage downloads directly into the SD card inserted into the unit within 3-5 seconds after user pushes pause from recording session. The user then plugs the USB cord into the unit and then the other end into the USB port on computer. Your computer then recognizes the new software and is able to be played on various media players ie...windows media player.
How much footage time do I get?
Our unit comes standard with a 4 GB micro SD memory card which will give you 2.5 to 3 hours of recording memory, but our unit does support an 8 GB micro SD memory card which will hold 4-5 hours of recording memory.
How long will the DVR sunglasses hold a charge?
The DVR300 hold a max charge of 5 hours.
